IMO I would stick with the Z strictly for the total fun factor and the interior. I tried a ZL1 during fun runs at an auto-x event and it was a pig to throw around. The Z offers fun in all categories, while the ZL1 is straight line power only for the most part. Plus, the interior is to open and wide for me. I like the feel of a more enclosed tight cockpit.
