Why didn't they add a capless gas cap?

The "keep you from running out of talent in the corner" means exactly what you said in your explanation. He's saying that someone with less talent, in an MT, could lose time/crash in a corner due to improperly shifting whereas you wouldn't with the AT.

Funny how AT/MT gets a huge discussion but not so much about other stuff like nav, paint, or rims.

Hahaha!!!! I made a wrong turn in Tampa and ended up driving over a very long bridge, then having to drive back. I got my first GPS the next day. I can read maps, heck I read military maps since 1980. But they don't always tell you the lane you need to be in, and not all freeways are fun to get lost on. Got lost in Chicago, toll road fees ate me up. Made a wrong turn in Canada, ended up on a toll freeway with no transponder. The nav has more than paid for itself. Plus being able to find out where the next gas station is can be priceless.

I'm glad you don't like nav. Too many people liking it would push the price up!

I know pu$$is are on the South side. Better neighborhood.

Anyway, to some what the hell is a map? What the hell is a record? What is a diskette?

Yes. I locked my keys in my car once in 42 years of driving. It was in 1973. I was stoned. Not only did I lock my keys in the car, but I left it running. I popped the hood and pulled the coil wire to kill the engine. Walked about 6 blocks home, got the spare house key I had hidden outside, let myself into my apartment, got my spare car keys and hoofed it back to where my car was parked. After that I always had a spare key attached to my cars somewhere and not one of those worthless metal magnetic boxes. And you know what ? Never locked my keys in the car again and to use a spare key. It's all about training your brain not to do something stupid.

Do you just hate science and technological advancement?

Do you hate cool?

Doesn't it also help prevent the ignition being punched and used with a screwdriver too?

Don't know and don't care about not having the ignition punched and used with a screwdriver. Don't hate technological advancement, just disagree with gimmicks that people think are "cool" when it leads to things like steering locks that fail when conventional key set ups have worked very reliably for many decades. And I was more comfortable driving without having my keys in my pants pocket or wondering where to place them.

I don't, nor won't have a steering lock problem.

Also, I love not having to ever take my keys out of my pocket. It's so annoying having to go in and out of my pocket with keys. They inevitably get caught on something in my pocket and in general upset me.

The fob on the other hand, no issues.

Traditional ignitions have been theft prone for decades, the push-button not so much.
