Hmmm, don't know. I bought them through the classifieds on here. I'll have to see if I can find that thread.

yah, that's going to be important to know when you go to your nissan dealer for the reset.

yah, that's exactly wat i did. i put some 3M e-tape over the light and honestly i cant even see
where it was in the cluster unless im really looking for it.

wat i did was found a countersunk screw with head diameter about the size
of the tpms light. then i cleaned the screw head, place a piece of e-tape on it,
and trimmed around the screw head with scissors for a perfectly round circle.

then used a thin L- picktool and walla.

Well, I figured out what the "problem" was! Apparently the 2011+ models come with an "Extended Storage Switch" in that fuse box by the dead pedal. It comes from the factory in the 'off' position. Apparently the dealer is supposed to switch it to 'on' before they sell the car.

I pushed in the switch until it clicked, and sure enough, the OBDII scanner turned right on!

More info on the "Extended Storage Switch" can be found in this thread:

http://www.the370z.com/exterior-inte...ge-switch.html

Here's an image of the switch (snagged it from the thread I linked above):

Default Some OBDIIs incompatible with 370z?

I was looking at OBDII Scanners and the Panlong device claims not be to compatible with Nissans. Anyone know of any other devices that won't work? Are most of them equivalent or are there some favorites with additional features?

Thanks for any feedback.

All OBDII devices are electrically compatible and are able to read the basic PIDs. The Panlong unit may not have Nissan-specific info in its database.
