I have driven one. They are fast as hell, but I could really feel the weight, which I didn't like. 3rd gear is, in my opinion, its best gear. When I hit 3rd that thing pulled like a monster. I still think a TT Z would be a hell of a lot more fun, because it would run a ZL1 down on any given track, but to each their own. Enjoy her!

Buddy and I test drove a CTS-V, the power was just unreal and addictive. Test drove a C63 AMG next and car felt civilized in comparison, if you can ever call a C63 that. |

Hmmm well 650RWHP isn't that much more power on a huge v8 compared to a baby v6... I don't think you looking for more power because you could have had a TT Z between the two Z's you had. So I do think you just got bored for some unknown reason to me. You should have gotten a GTR if you wanted more power than lol

It's not about the hp, its about torque. That thing makes a whole hell of a lot more of it and its fantastic. And I envy the adjustable suspension they put on the ZL1 and CTSV.
Not to mention 650whp out of a SC V8 is a mild build. There's more in it I'm sure.

Even more than the torque it's about how the car makes power. A big peak number is impressive but this thing probably has one of the nicest power curves you will see.

Ill bet its got a dyno chart where the torque looks like a tabletop. We can **** around here putting turbos and superchargers on v6s, but a big v8 with a blower tends to win most arguments.

I don't want you to think I'm hating on your car at all. Its amazing! lol
I just wanted to see what you were thinking and why. I just feel like the money spent on the ZL1, you could have had a built, TT Z putting out 800-1000hp and weighs 700lbs less. That's just the way I see it. I'll stick to my bikes though, they will forever be faster than any car for 100x cheaper ![]() I love my Z, but I love my 220hp S1000RR a little bit more lolAre you ever going to tell us what parts you ordered or are you going to make us find out the hard way

I have been working on cars for 25 years and over the past 4 have been wrenching on the 370 WAY too much by starting with the ZL1 it is easier to get to where I want to be with a lot less work I get bored working on my stuff I rather just do a little work and enjoy it appossed to working on it for a year to get it the way I like it.
