Gotta love texas! I caught a 16 yr old kid trying to jack a friends Z4 about a year ago. Held him at gunpoint until the police arrived, kid pissed himself. Scum of the earth I tell ya. Helps if you have a concealed handgun license.

This is so horrible. I'm very sorry at your loss. I hate thieves with a passion!

I updated post 1 with pics. I hope you don't mind.

I hate to see this kind of thing happening, I live in Suffolk county too, I think i've seen your z around DPA. i'm not saying you did, but all it takes is one night of hanging out on DPA for a Wyandanch/bayshore/Islip scumbag to follow you home and plan his attack.

My civic hatchback got stolen last year, I had a removeable steering wheel, alarm, fuel cutoff switch, and always took the ECU fuse out before going to bed. This particular night i got home at 2am, landlord woke me up at 7am to find my car missing.

Thieves will get their justice.

Amen!

Yeah, I drive on Jericho every day, so I'm sure you've probably seen me around.

I literally cried when they towed my car off the driveway only a month after having it. I sincerely hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Sorry to hear about what happened. There is bound to be some difficulty getting over the incident so my recommendation is to dive into fun stuff you like to do and enjoy yourself. Talk to your neighbors and really get more eyes watching for problems. In a nice area everyone around your place is probably feeling some concern as well.

Recommendations:

Lojack has some nice options that should help. You can even have your phone called if there is a problem.

Motion sensing lights aimed in the cars vicinity are probably the best at discouraging thieves.

The lights and a camera to catch whoever.

Good luck!

Actually, we do have motion sensor lights flood lights in the driveway, but the thieves came up to the house and unscrewed the lights before stealing my wheels. But I will definitely look into the Lojack option.

Sorry to hear that man, I live in West Babylon and would also be devastated if that happened to me. Once I get my Z we should have a meet.

Not at all. I'm just glad the whole incident is over and my car is good as new. It just sucks that I now have to wake up every morning fearing the worst.

Thanks to you and everyone else for your support.
