I define "unsafe" as a situation presenting an unnecessary and avoidable risk of a reasonably foreseeable threat to my safety and the safety of my passengers and my car. I've practiced law for 40 years and seen way too much pain and suffering caused by people placing themselves in such "unsafe" situations. Trust me---it just isn't worth it.

Your lawyer is showing. :p

I was kinda asking what you mean by saying the Z is unsafe in winter.

i think he was referring to the other dumbarse drivers running cheap pos a/s tires smashing into your prefect Z.

it's an avoidable risk. get a winter beater, hibernate your Z. :D
even if you die in your beater, your Z is safe!

I can't think of anything that the civic has over the Z, except for the extra seats.

Look for other cars around $25k and compare. I doubt you can find one that can compete with the Z.

Ah. I read it as there was something about the Z that made it unsafe in winter conditions, not that winter driving is less safe than other times of year.

There are many options around $25K, but the Z is prob my favorite! Camaro/Mustang (everybody drives one nowadays), G37 (not as aggressive and sexy as the G35), BRZ/FR-S (not enough power)

Im not too worried about the weather it never snows here lol

Well hello there fellas :hello:
i'm currently looking at a 2011 Manual black 370Z base (sport package) with 20k miles, listed for $25k, what do you guys think about the price?
As it appears from my name I currently drive a 2007 Honda civic Si coupe, and im thinking its time to change things up since I've had the car for about two years! Im just having difficulties to accept the fact that if I do purchase the Z, maintenance will definitely go up, and gas of course.. what do you guys think? has anybody else made this switch before? any help would be appreciated :) :icon17:

I'm not sure if $23-25k is a good price or not (it seems about right) but, as others have said, the 370Z is one of the better cars in that price range. As with any car, it has a few quirks but, for me, no deal killers. I've been very happy with my '09 Touring - one of the best all-around sports cars I've driven.

Why? Because he's doing his homework and asking for owners' opinions before he puts his money down? I fail to see how the "Z is not for him" based on the questions he's asked.
