You're probably right now that the Z dropped $3k. The subie/scion team will have to be flexible on price in order to compete with the current retro Z pricing.

Just like the Z look better. It has that weighty feel to it, the GTR also has it as it is FAT too, for a RWD car I think the Z is it. Interesting what the next one will look like.

Just remember, those faux back seats drop insurance rates by 1/3. The biggest reason people will choose the twins will be an economics factor. Second will be an illogical reasoning of believing the Seats in the back will actually hold at least 2 kids. Sadly, not even kids will make it back there. 2saters will never outsell 4 seaters. So it's not a good way to judge greatness in a car.

Yea, Ive driven the 86 a few times, saw them at the track this weekend, they went well. I too prefer the feel of the Z, it is heavier, requires a different skill set to pilot the Z effectively. The Twins are much more forgiving. Not fast, but like everyone says, its fun.

agreed with the MSRP = idiot thing, but with scion, im not sure about subaru, they have no haggle pricing. no dealership will go lower than the next. the only way to get a deal is to fall into the, graduating student category for 500 off, or some other promo going on. which makes the FRS at 25-26K pretty pricey...

And what Stanger is not counting in the $29k is that without the few bullshyt options that scion has. The interior will look like total shyt. In order to make the car look presentable. You're paying $29k.

yah, that's REALLY dumb. goes against the original FRS theme... cheap FR sportscoupe concept. if the dumbarse set a high price you cant negotiate it down. that car is no way worth over $25K otd.

The more technical the track, the better they will do. More turns usually equals out the field better... if your thinking VIR then there will be problems.

But for most people doing HPDE's, its more building skill than anything. If you go into any racing series, your positioned within a class structure.

If you want lux, you automatically steer away from almost any subi... the evo's a rather spartan as well.

then you buy a subi... and im sure if/when a dealer obtains a stockpile of those things, and the interest payments are creeping up, they will offer a lower no-haggle price...

You can minimize the gap, but you still need power to come off the corner
