Cover Everyday?

Its not the material that causes the problems its any debris that gets stuck between the cover and the car. Its impossible to have a perfectly clean contact between the cover and the car.
It's impossible to keep the car perfectly clean anyways.

Its not about keeping the car perfectly clean obviously since you do drive it around, etc. Its about keeping the elements off it - dust, pollen, etc can stick to the paint, etch and grind into it. I just depends on what you want your car to look like. I'm just assuming people asking about protecting their car are interested in keeping it looking its best. IMHO putting a cover that touches the car and grinds whatever is floating in the air into the paint is a bad idea. You wont get debris sticking/etching or acid rain, etc onto it as much but you will be grinding whatever is on top of the paint down into the clear coat.
