Has anyone experienced the paint bubble issue on any colors other than Solid Red? |
I have a couple on my hood and the color is black!I'll bet every 09 Z has some sort of issue if they are looked at hard enough!

Yeah, I thought that was common knowledge. o__o
Be sure to keep her garaged if you can and keep it waxed. |

I noticed them on my PG Z today. There are a bunch on my hood, it almost looks like the clearcoat is bubbling in places. Has anyone actually gotten this issue "resolved" in any way? I guess I'll call my local dealer and see what they say. Really sucks, cause I just got it tinted and I was about to get a clear bra installed (already got a damn rock chip!).

Has anyone tried machine buffing (or even wet sanding) the bumpers to smooth out the clear coat a bit? |
Greetings! Did you ever get your paint bubble issues resolved to your satisfaction?

Red 370z here with near-zero paint issues. No bubbles, fades, or purple marks, but a little bit of orange peel on the rear bumper if you look hard enough. Garage kept and waxed regularly, but it's also my daily driver. I give it a good wipe down with a quick detailer after every drive.
I think that a car, regardless of color, won't fade if taken care of properly. |

I had a 98 honda civic once apon a time that developed some light purple spots in the paint on the fender rolls on the front quarter panel. I'm not sure if its similar to whats being reported here since there are no pics to compare it to but it sounds similar. There were about 5 spots but the car was black in color.
