Kill or be killed.

It's been my experience that those that don't want to go through the insurance company, have no insurance. I'm with Chuck, you hit me, I'm taking pictures, getting information and calling the cops. And oh yeah, I'm getting diminished value. :rofl2: I think the ONLY way I'd not go through insurance is if the person that hit me handed me a large amount (north of $10k) in cash. ;)

The only time I've let someone off the hook like that was when my dad clipped the bumper of my new STI. He coughed up for the paint touch up (it wasn't bad) and gave me a 1911. I'll take that deal. If I'm not your child? Brace yourself.

no good deed goes unpunished. get yours first, screw everyone else. call the cops always and unless they drop cash in your hand right there call their insurance too, its there for exactly this.

I know it's off topic as ****, but dude. How old are you? Have some respect for the English language. You aren't texting your bros....

Agreed. Please use correct grammar. I'm no grammar Nazi, but try your best to refrain from texting lingo. It makes you seem more mature and will lead to more people taking you seriously. :tiphat:

Minsu 09-24-2013 06:16 PM

...wow ok so now we are picking up on grammer? And bbower im 22 why are you going off topic. And I thought the community were my bros? If not why are we a community? Do we need to write an essay and follow.format? Do you puncuate and use proper.grammer all the time? No im sure you dont. Please dont jump on me when one im sure you do the same thing.

I'm on your side. I'm one of the younger guys too. However, I do think that it is important to use proper grammar and punctuation. It just makes you look better. Besides what is the harm of using correct grammar? It doesn't take any more time to capitalize, use a period, or spell a word correctly. Doing so makes you seem better educated.

We are a community. Part of what makes us a community is a common language. None of us use 100% correct English, but, in order to make ourselves better understood, we make an effort to at least come close.

It's not really jumping on you, just trying to point out that, when you are requesting help from someone, it helps (a LOT) if you can make yourself understood.

You're 22, and you type like that? That's sad. Why wouldn't I use correct grammar whenever I type? I actually think it may be your lack of knowledge with a keyboard. Sorry buddy.

Im sorry but was there ever something that i posted as a thread or comment that was not understood? I really dont think so. Were seriously going off topic but honestly why the need to jump on different aspects of who I am every time i make a thread? And i took your advices and its what im gonna be doing.

Lol? Seriously were going there now? One dont most 22 year olds type like doucheb's anyways? And how do you know my proficiency with the keyboard? Are you a professional that types 120 words a minute with perfect grammar, then good for you? And like I mentioned before its a fkin forum not an online class, my grammar is fine, im sorry that you are meticulous enough to point out errors in my typing. Hop off my ****.

winning all around. good advice from most in here. Believe it or not lil guy, your poor use of the English language makes people NOT want to help you. You don't take the time to properly type out your thought process, they don't want to take the time to decipher your garble. Also, a lot of your attitude also turns people off from aiding you. You are lucky most of the people here are actually awesome!

If I remember correctly, that's a quote from that Method Man and Redman movie. Not sure it's much of a defense, but it was a funny movie.

Minsu 09-24-2013 07:44 PM

Lol? And I use apa format for nursing. And my attitude? I never instigate anything with any of you. And how did I turn into "lil" guy? My poor use of the english language thought we were talking about grammar? And just to reiterate I dont have an attitude. I dont kno why some of you consistently feel the need to nitpick.and bring everything off topic and make me feel like I need to defend myself on a forum that I joined to get advice and learn?

Nobody's attacking you Pal. We're asking you to stop typing like an 11 year old. And you seem to have fixed that. We've also already given you all the advice we have to offer, so the only thing left for you to do is learn something.

I'm 22 and from Georgia. I, nor does anyone else I know, type like that. Look when you type like a middle schooler, it makes people not want to help. It takes but 5 seconds to type correctly and fix mistakes!

cooltoy 09-24-2013 07:53 PM

If you don't get defensive, you would not need to defend. Just saying.

wait what? how is this a scam? The part where he's trying to fix his entire car even though the lady only hit a certain part of it?

I think everyone is already offering their advice it up to you to deliver and update us if you wish to. on the grammar front, I'll be the last person to correct anyone, but from your previous posts it take 3 times longer to read it and understand... :shakes head: i feel old as 26 years old dude.... :shakes head:

I think at this point let the insurance deal with it is the best chance, if you its her fault its her fault. you can never trust people who just crash their car and try to say anything just to get out of that moment.

Good luck on repair.

Minsu 09-24-2013 08:02 PM

Lol. So Georgia must be an exception. And how can I not be defensive? Your telling me that I should listen to people say I have poor grammar and basically say that you guys are better than me bc I choose to type in a way that I do? Why dont you guys reflect before you start putting yourself in a position where you sound like a patronizing asshat. And bbowerr I kno I got the advice.I needed and I took it so what more can you say. How do you bring nothibg relavant to the thread and come at me like you think your smarter than me cause its probably not the case. Thanks

I am always there to help, if I can. I just agree that if it is hard to understand what the person is saying, it is much harder to help.

It is your personal choice how you communicate, just don't get upset when people have a hard time understanding.

I don't even want to get involved, I am just busting your chops, but to tell you the truth, I skipped your last two threads right at the titles. I thought to myself "self, do you really want to translate a foreign language?"

Peace.:hello:

fzgood 09-24-2013 08:31 PM

I initially ignored this thread because of the title. I finally decided to check it out because it kept getting bumped.

After reading through (some posts more times than others), it looks like Minsu has the ball rolling on everything necessary—best of luck with fixing your car, man. I would hate for my car to go through all that.

As far as grammar goes... the only thing I have to add on to what other people have said:
Punctuation and whitespace go a long way. I'm basically the same age, or close enough as makes no difference, so I'm not trying to make a stab at your age or maturity. Minsu, your posts are hard as "fk" to understand on first pass. I usually ignore posts like that unless it becomes clear that their content is necessary for context.

I was 22 when I order my Z and I turnded 23 when I had to pick it up. My grammar isn't perfect either but there comes a point in your life that you have to stop typing like if you are in high school.

On another note, having your Z hit, I would definately contact the insurance. When a truck hit me on my Z the guy asked me if I wanted to talk to his boss. I told him that I'm calling the cops and my insurance immediately. Thats the best way to do it, especially with our cars. Good luck fixing your car. And don't take things too personal, like you said is only an online forum with a community of helpful individuals with little to a lot of experience in different stuff.
