Something like the G that has a nice profile or silhouette looks fantastic in black. The G doesn't have a lot of accent lines. The 370Z has a great silhouette but it also has some fantastic lines that are not a major part of the sihouette - those are the ones I'm refering to gettting washed out. Like the accents in the hood and roof line and even the tubbed out rear end is not as noticeable with the black. Keep that in mind when you look at the black and the red side by side....

Red is not a good color to keep new as well as black but it is slightly easier to keep than black

Get red. With Nissan's crappy clear coat, you'd be better off. My magnetic black paint already looks terrible in certain areas

is the paint really that bad? I keep hearing this even from a friend who works at a one of the dealerships.

yeah, it's really easy to impart scratches onto the clearcoat and it chips easily.
It's just a lot harder to see on the other colors other than black. If I would have known this now, would have got white.
