I had a weird thing happen to me yestereday, i was pulling out of a parking lot, got a little side ways . nothing to crazy and all the dash lights came on.. like the ABS ,BRAKE, everything.. i pull it out of gear and the SRM revs up to 4.5k and starts bounsing like thats the rev limiter then falls to 800rpm. I turn the car off and then back on and everythings normal:mad:

What has happened to this site.. everyone has turned into such hatters, i just made a comment on what happened to me, and all of a sudden im an idiot who cant drive? I just pulled out onto a main road from a parking lot, no one around and gave a little gas and the rear steped out a little.. if this had not happened to you then you bought the wrong car.. you deserve a mini van. sounds like someone got there panties in a wad.. thats sad i am saying this to modshack cause i HAD much respect for you.. :shakes head:

Maybe just because I had an EVO you think im a zit face Boyracer like some of the other member think of evo owners.. but I didnt think that was you.. I'm a 30yr married with children small business owner. If I want to drive my car like a man i shouldnt be called an idiot..

Not to defend the guy, but you do realize there are plenty of knocked over cones on courses to denote direction and "loading/parking" areas, right?

Bushguts 08-09-2009 06:43 PM

Fusz- very strange on what happened to you. Hopefully it's not major mechanically. The sound you heard doesn't sound good though.

Brazilbro- that comment was pretty messed up. I get my Z sideways once in a while too. It's fun to have a little fun sometimes.

JvKintheUSA 08-09-2009 09:11 PM

I am curious as well - subscribed to thread. Hopefully nothing serious!

Sorry if it offended, but the street is really no place to be getting sideways. It puts you and others at risk and is hardly an indication of your manhood. When I was on the corvette forum, guys were always doing this, always blaming the car, and sometimes causing sgnificant damage to their cars and innocent bystanders cars. I'm all about car control and smoothness.. If you're not, and the "nannies" are turned on, unexpected things can happen. Usually to save your butt but sometimes surprising enough to get you into more trouble by over-reacting to their attemps to get you back in control. Guys who see their VDC kicking in all the time are not really very good drivers. Too many drift videos out there I guess..and too many stunt drivers on this forum...Sorry I took i out on you.

Hopefully Lou will know what's going on in the morning..

Hope the car is ok.

Is it Monday in the US yet? It's been Monday for hours here! ;)
