yes, intakes and exhaust systems are very serious matters

forget work or family, if someone doesnt get the right intake, it can literally mean life or death

Omg!! I would not take Stillen CBE if someone gave it away lol. Go ask anyone how bad there Stillen CBE has nothing but tons of rust in it lol. Go be my guest!!

The NISMO S-tune will not rust and will last for many years to come!!

Please don't even try and compare Stillen cheap made rusted exhaust to NISMO who is made my Fujitsubo!

I was working on my buddy's G37 last weekend with a Stillen cbe. No rust to be found.

Yes, it can happen. I was just pointing out that you said to "ask anyone with a Stillen cbe", and I was just under a car with one and no rust less than a week ago.

uuuuhhh, that is a mighty bold claim you are making, you better have some proof to back up that claim...

370z Nismo S Tune Exhaust - YouTube

That's with HFCs, so just the cat back isnt going to sound like that. The S Tune costs $1700. There's a lot of better options out there for that kind of money. Options that give you much more power than the S Tune.

I have to fully disagree!! The S-tune NISMO CBE from Japan is very high quality exhaust system and does not drone like many other aftermarket systems. The NISMO is full SS with 36 month warranty when installed by Nissan dealer when the car is new.

The pipes are bigger and you will get a nice bump in Hp also it's lighter then OEM.

The Nismo intake system is nice because you don't have to cut into your car frame and STIlleN gen 3 is junk!!

Go NISMO!! Attachment 73865Attachment 73866

What in the heck is going on in this thread? Generally speaking, JDM <fill in the blank> generally isn't worth the cash for performance gains alone but if you want ~JDM~ stuff, by all means I guess.
My Stillen G3 intakes were on the car for two years with no rust whatsoever. They're off now but only because I went FI.

Having had a base 370z exhaust, a Nismo exhaust and a Fast Intentions exhaust, I can tell you that Nismo/base do not hold a candle to the F.I. system. The "S-tune" looks identical to my old Nismo exhaust so... yeah. I guess I could be missing something.

Sounds like the base nismo exhaust with the raspy berk HFCs to me.

the dealership straight offered me an s tune for $1143 but I'm still not sure it's worth it compared to FI. Stillen just doesn't do much in the sound dept. Yes it has more depth, but no volume increase whatsoever which makes it boring imho.

I'd be really sure they were selling you an S-Tune exhaust and not someone's nismo exhaust that got pulled off for something else during a sale. I absolutely would not put it past a dealership to do this.

the S-tune exhaust is not a true dual setup like the nismo 370z exhaust(this one has an H-Pipe instead of the y pipe) but basically its the same thing as the base exhaust

all of the nissan exhaust systems though are really quiet and are pretty restrictive when compared to other exhaust systems out there for the Z
