Juke Nismo is pretty comfy, better than our touring seats I think. Thing looks odd on the outside but grows on you lol

I actually want one of these, but my wifey to be HATES them and she said she'd stage an intervention if I tried to buy one. lol. I do absolutely love my Mazda though, but those Nismo seats look way more comfortable for longer drives than the MS3 seats.

juke is nice, test drove one. but rear cargo is small with the rear seats up, the rear foot well is tiny too, even for little kids. not really a family oriented car imo.

I waited until my kids left home before I got a 2 seater. I'm going to drive my Z until it falls to pieces, fix it, and keep driving it daily until I die.
In your case OP a child needing a ride, I would get at least something with 4 doors. Just saying. |

from my experience, as long as the kid can buckle him/herself to the seat, a 2door would work. i speak from experience with my G35C. things are fine on a sunny day. but in the rain, if you have to stand out there with the door open to buckle your kid into the rear seat in your coupe, that door could potentially short out from all the rain water. ![]() that's when i stopped using my G as dd. but then my kids can now buckle themselves, so i use my G as my summer time dd. i have a hatch for winter and bad weather.

![]() I have tried thinking about passing it down to my kids (if I have any), but the image of her totalled/broke down/in poor condition/sold just angers me

Actually the Juke has grown on my and that interior is nice
Arrg, DD something other than my Z is still frustrating because I know I have the Z at home. Granted, my Subaru Forester is surprisingly fun, I got it in manual too and less stress about the road conditions since my Z is so low...but still it hurts me when I don't get to drive the Z.. My 19 month old is with grandma all week so its Z day every day!

I got back from the dealership. I have requested to borrow one for a full day test drive. I want to see what it can do on a 30 minute quick charge at a Public Station. I did some cost analysis. I think the Leaf will cost me about $100-150 a month, of course this doesn't factor in the wear and tear of the Lexus or the Z. It's definitely not a necessity, but it isn't a high priced gamble given the $2500 state credit to reimburse my downpayment. I figure the car can be share between my wife and I, I can also keep it as a second car to throw my kid in there as the new car seat might not fit in the Z. The basket carrier was great, but he is at the limit pretty much.
