SRM is not a little thing so I did not include it.

If you drive right, it never turns off.

I love the push button start ahhhh. I mean who has time to stick a key in the slot, turn and hold until it fires up anymore?

I like that you don't need to HOLD the push start button... Obviously I'm starting the car, I pressed the button and my foot is on the brake... LOL

Zensation 07-17-2013 10:07 PM

Very true!.. Or the clutch whichever:driving: :P i have had both the 7at and the 6mt and honestly im not sure which i like better. I know i prefer the 6mt just for the driving experience but the 7 was super smoothe and paddle shifters were fun as heck too.

I like that both windows will go all the way down without me holding the switches. Combine that with push-button start and keyless entry...getting in is just a matter of settling my fat *** in the seat and making sure the damn slippery, loose weathertech digital fit floor mat is still in the hooks.

I don't know if this qualifies as a "minor" feature, but one of the things I love about my 2013 370Z touring with sports and all the options is the fact that it's basically monochrome at night with the orange. Not only is it extremely cool and sporty, it's also very legible and easy on the eyes. I had the same on my Infiniti G35 coupe with sports pkg, but the G37S I had had a bunch of colors in the dash that were not desirable. Anyone else agree that the orange is the best?

I like the aluminum chassis brace behind the seats. Stupid, but there it is.

double tapping the unlock button and holding it on the second press to have the windows automatically roll down as I approach the car... favorite trick to impress friends ;)

Have you had to have your fob replaced? Maybe they gave you one from an Altima or the likes?

I'd take that **** back and tell them you want the Z one.

Do you have the second/spare one? Both of mine say Z.

Or worse....maybe one from a Versa.

I used to have a '79 Honda CBX. It also had orange gauges.
Honda R&D back in the day had told them orange was the way to go to have
the least impact to night vision. Hence, the orange gauges.
Loved that bike.....sounded freakin' awesome.

Mentioned earlier, but...

The two buttons above the rear plate. I like being able to walk up, unlock the hatch and then the doors with the fob in my pocket. Or on the flip side, close the hatch and lock the doors.

Today is 26 days and counting 'til I get my Z out from winter storage.
This thread is giving me wood.

Staring at the fat rear fenders is one of my favorites. Big *** mirrors too lol

sp911 02-04-2016 09:13 AM

Excellent thread. I can’t pick just one:
1. Being able to download 2400+ of my favorite songs!
2. Xm radio. I never had it before.
3. Homelink. I have a 3 car garage so it’s nice.
4. Buttons on the door handle and trunk. No pocket fumbling!
5. Srm. Obviously!

Yep. It's what the car really needed.

I noticed some people had issues with the left part of the hood not closing properly without a 3 ft drop... it hit me that it may or may not have been designed to allow your trickle charger to go through and have a partial lock in for the hood.

or maybe I'm just on something.

i also like how the clutch/brake and battery are in their own compartments

Zipper 104 02-05-2016 02:59 AM

Brace? Really?

The aluminum thingy behind my seats is what my 'hatch contents privacy cover' pulls out of and springs back into. The whole bar just pops right out and weighs about 5 pounds tops.
I can't see it effectively bracing even my skinny a**. Am I missing something, or are you just messing with me?

I like its rareness.

What do you like most?

Design, performance, gas mileage, history, performance-to-price ratio or brand name (Nissan or Z) .. etc ??

Sorry....I stand corrected. I've got to get out to mine more often. I guess that's what I get for storing mine every winter.
I looked; the roll up cover thingy is another thing back there. I forgot there was even a brace. It is kinda nice.

Yeah I think it's rare because most people underestimate them :) usually you got dude thinking they have a better car just because it's a huge V8 with stupid milage and some extra power haha. They fail to see that they have an insane of extra weight and dimension. V8s are hella sluggish and over rated :p haha yes I'm hating, yes I'm ranting, yes I have a vendetta against V8 sport cars, though I do appreciate them. It's the misconception people have that just gets to me...

But I think I like the fact that the Z kills people's low expectations of it haha. I always see people looking very surprised when they see a Z own a muscle car or when they hear the sweet exhaust of the car haha mine sounds like a V8 at warm up XD.

There is nothing not to like about the Z. Specially when you get the Nismo.
I love my and there is nothing I do not like so far.

Ni9TFiVE 02-07-2016 11:11 AM

I like that you don't see them on the road that often. Unlike the Camaro and Mustangs, you see those once every 10 seconds!

ped 02-07-2016 11:15 AM

Orange night lighting for gauges and the dash in general.

Totally understandable, I'm from the new england area but now in sunny south florida, I do not miss the winter one bit!!

Now the Z gets her exercise year-round :driving:
