You want your mind blown more? ALL Nissans do this.

YES! I was so bummed when I found out my 370 had LESS cool features than my 350.

And don't forget the oil pressure gauge.

I love parking my car at night, and walking away and looking back at it while my white lights are still on. My car is black so it looks mean yet kinda classy.

It's definately got to be SRM.. If that counts as a minor feature.

My mind has officially been blown.

I have always wanted to write a letter to Nissan and ask them why they like to take away features that most car companies add in the newer models. I mean there is no reason to remove the dang TPS sensors and the digital speedo. I know it wasn't the best, but the 370 should have had an even better one. I love the Z and Nissan but come on! :ugh2:

You know what, I like that my lights turn off immediately when I close the doors
(For anyone wondering, this is a setting toucan change on the fly if you have Nav, supposedly the dealer can change the time for those folks who do not have Nav)

SUPER minor, and I'm sure 99% of cars do this, but I recently discovered you can fold the mirrors in. I accidentally bumped into one and thought I broke it! Comes in handy in busy parking lot...and the car might even look a little sleeker when they're folded in lol.

The perfect little thing for the parking garage when I go to Minneapolis.

No worries, friend. It took me a while after I had my Z to discover this. I know people laugh at me because I am a dinosaur/caveman at just 27 years old.

Probably because I will end up a disgruntled old man saying "...back in my day, folding mirrors were done with your hand! Not this voice-control 'abra-kadabra' crap! Sheesh...young people." :icon17:

I need to actually inquire about that next time I'm in. It bugs me when they're left on and I get paranoid.

I will definitely look into this (no Nav). After I turn the car off, I almost always switch the lights off the Auto setting then back to Auto which turns them off.

Personally I am glad it does not have a digital speedo. I think it gives it a sportier feel. I do not like luxury style sports cars with plush & all the gadgets, that is why I love the Z. I like the raw noisy feel of the car & the kinda of less is more type of approach in options.
While I can understand a lot of people who daily drive their Z's may see plenty of short comings, I did not buy mine for this purpose. I really wish I could get away from TPMS all together, but do to living in an ever growing Nanny state of a county were stuck with it until the end of days.

But hey that's just me. YMMV :tiphat:

The vibrating knob to let you know the power is there.

I understand that point of view for sure. I just hate drivin by a state trooper thinking to myself "Ok I was somewhere between 70 and 80." I like being able to glance and know my exact speed but that's just me. I guess coming from the 350, I was spoiled with it. :p
