Anyone ever used macally Mcup holder mount

And if so, how do you like it? My concern is that it will put my phone too close for comfy viewing, and that it will feel cumbersome where it

Interesting, position would probably be ok but i couldn't give up the only functional cupholder we have.

I agree. Why the aftermarket hasn't created a second cup holder for the lower dash is beyond me. They should be able to work something in where the blank buttons are.

The moment my wife saw only "one" cupholder, the first thing she said was "I get the message that this car only wants you in it".
If you think about it kinda dumb only having one drink holder. When I was a kid people didn't drive around drinking bottles and bottles of water, they drank enough to make it back to the house, haha.
Anyway, the one cupholder usually isn't a problem until I have coffee and she has a soda/bottle water, then there isn't a "good" place for the 2nd cup unless you use the 2nd so-called cupholder in the arm cubby, that messes up my shifting...first world problems...

I use a RAM mount and it works awesome! Very little bounce when taking video on my iPhone. I mount it under the rear view mirror and I have pretty good visibility still. It also holds extremely well. You'll see a lot of good reviews on it for track use and what not.

Amazon.com: RAM Mount X-Grip Composite Twist Lock Suction Cup Mount: Cell Phones & Accessories

I bought a slightly different version but it gives you the idea. Plenty of reviews on the product.

there are 3 cup holders in the 370z, 2 on the doors(granted those are only really good for holding water bottles) and one near the shifter...

with that said, i almost never use my cup holder because its weird to have a cup there and shift so i would never buy this type of mount

Steelie mount looks like it would be terrible for spirited driving if that's what you're going after. It would jiggle and pivot all over the place from the looks of it.

OP, what are you planning on using this for?
