I wouldn't sell you a roll of sh*t paper.....after all the warranty claims I'd get it would put me out of business.

Do you happen to know what your oil level was at the time, this can happen when the engine gets low on oil.

You know what.....Now that you said that, and I forgot to mention this, I noticed that the number on the oil pressure gauge was very low, between 140 and 180. I probably only went about 3 or 4 miles when this happened and I just assumed that the low reading was just because the car was not fully warmed up. Could there be a connection? But why wouldn't the oil light come on?

Sorry...I meant the oil temp gauge.

Eh, I've had a couple of VQ engines get REALLY low on oil (less than a quart, clued me in to severe oil consumption) and they never hesitated. I did get a lot of valvetrain noise, though, which I would consider the best indicator of low oil.

No low oil light either. Pretty sweet.

My best guess with this problem would be a malfunctioning MAF or VVEL position sensor.

Also could be a bad MAF....when they are dirty or bad they cause no power issues like that.

You have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge?

I though we only had an oil temp gauge.

Nissan scares me, I know Toyota has had a ton of recalls but fuel starvation out of nowhere with actual gas in your tank is a huge problem.
