Clutch makes thud noise after shift

When I complete a shift I'm getting a 'thud' noise that seems to be coming from the clutch. It started this morning and seems to be happening about 60-70% of the time. It happens when the clutch pedal has fully returned from a shift. Any ideas?

One the 12th I'll be taking the car in to have a new clutch/flywheel/CSC installed along with an LSD so I don't know whether to even waste my time with the dealership. However, if they were to install a new clutch I might be able to sell it quicker since there will only be a few miles on it when it gets pulled.

Sounds like your just popping the clutch after shifting. But my clutch makes a noise at low speed when being quickly engaged unsure if its the same noise my 350 did it also

This is AFTER the shift is completed and the clutch has returned to position.

I think I have same issues with my nismo too ! Especially when i shift second gear

does it happen when you let off the gas as well or just when you shift?

you wouldn't happen to have a video of it would you?

completely normal, dont worry about it too much

every 370z i have seen and even some 350z make tons of noise when shifting, disengaging the clutch, ect.

You need to post a vid. Seems to be normal if this is occuring immediately "after" releasing the clutch.

Just when I shift. It doesn't look like I'll be able to cruise by the dealership before I drop it off to get everything installed. It's all being replaced anyway.

Plus, I'm having an RJM clutch pedal installed because the stock pedal SUCKS !!!

That's when it happens. I wouldn't call it normal because if it made this noise when I test drove it I would have not bought that particular Z.
