The new technology is just incredible...I am 53, so i grew up driving on square bias ply tires. Before Radials were invented, haha....Once you can race on those, all this new stuff just makes it that much more fun to drive really hard....Of course on a closed track.....:wtf2:

I had huge passion for my 77 280z which I traded (It was terminally rusted out) for a 94 Miata. That car was fun to drive but was a bit underwhelming and soulless. I had it for 18 years!!! Wow. Time flys.

Now I have returned to the Z family and of course wonder why I ever left. In retrospect I wish I would have gone from the 280 to a 300. Those 18 years might have been different I think. Ah well... My wife gives me grief about having a car I can only haul 2 ppl in, but I'm not making the same mistake twice. I love my Z, I've always loved Zs and I will always have one waiting for me on the garage. (Right next to a minivan if she gets her way ;) )

Started with a mitsu eclipse then got me an Altima, 350z, 09 370z, and now my 12 370, I will be keeping this one.

Acura legend, lancer oz rally, EVO 8, STI, Element, now 12 370z.

Oh I forget to mention I used to drive this too when I was a kid. This is when it got dynoed.:tup:

Yeah, I guess it's just the sentimental value. It was the car that got me into imports and modding in general, so it'll always have that special place haha. Needless to say I tend to forget about it every time I crank the Z though!

You underestimated me sir! I used my 2 hands to help too. So it's almost like 4 little feet Ibs of torque!:tup: But it was just the base line. After the popcorn mod, it(I) gained 2 more feer Ibs of torque!:drama::tup:

Aging Crown Vic just got totaled. Previous cars even more boring--two Novas. Put in my order for a Z today. My family thinks its the Lortabs and steroids for the neck. But there is a logic. People like to run over you around here and I want to get out of their way. One think I liked about the Crown Vic was that it was deceptive. The Z is sort of obvious so we will have to change a few things.
