Sold my R33 Skyline GT-R and picked up my 370z.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-g...37559144_o.jpg Long story...I was stationed in Japan and bought my GT-R there. Brought it with me to my next duty station in Belgium. I'm moving back to the states next year. Too much to risk trying to get it back to the states :( |
^omg love

I had a '11 Subaru WRX STi. Bought it brand new and thought I would love to drive it, but, as it turns out, it was just fast and it didn't feel like a driver's car. Before the STi i had a 2008 Lexus IS-F, which I loved, but times were tough then. And before the IS-F, I had a Porsche Cayman and before the Cayman, I had a 2004 Nissan 350Z. Needless to say, I started with a 350Z and now I'm back in a 370Z! Something about a Z that just makes you want to drive it! Puts a smile on my face every time!

2012 Hyundai Sonata Limited.
Bought it brand new in January. It was a "practical - luxury" car purchase. It had heated leather seats, Navi, panoramic sunroof. After about 6 months my neighbour asked me how I liked my car and I just kinda gave them a blank stare. There wasn't anything BAD I could say about the car, but there wasn't anything GOOD I could say about the car either. So I had been thinking that this car purchase was a mistake, but to be practical I should own it for a minimum of 3 years. My wife made a comment a few days later about seeing one of those "370" cars in the parking lot and "man, that is one nice looking car". So I commented, "I guess it wouldnt be against the law to trade in the Hyundai for one". 2 weeks later I am driving a 2013 370Z.:ughdance: |
Now that's a drastic change to a much more exciting ride . . . . . :driving:

I traded my 2011 Sonata SE with 74,000 miles on her! She was a nice reliable and functional car, but like you, I didn't buy the car other than to be practical |

I was driving a 2000 Nissan Altima until I hydroplaned and slammed it into a guardrail. Decided it was finally time to drive a "real" car.

The 350 was really nice, brutally quick and handled great, and way better than any Z before it, but the 370Z is just super sweet. It is so much nicer is so many ways... And the old school/new school Z/28 is a bit of old technology wrapped with modern suspension, steering and brakes..Kinda went crazy on the Hotchkis, Willwood, ect...But well worth it.. Part of my youth that I cannot part with... |

Drove a 20th anniversary 280ZX, the Gold and Black edition, and then a Red first generation 300Z... Too many to count. Always been into the Datsun Z , because it reminded me of the Z/28. Short tail, and long nose and they handled great.. I must be a Nissan/Datsun junkie....EDIT. I am a Nissan/Datsun Junkie... |
