Damn man that's horrible, in all honesty it's very dangerous having drivers incapable of actually driving at that age on the road. I've seen and had so many encounters where older people just commit dangerous maneuvers and their reaction and response times are incredibly low leading to so many accidents that I've seen. Sorry to see that.

Never mind to my original post. Sorry to hear that man!

Sorry to hear. Best of luck in getting this resolved.

At least it wasn't your fault? I hope they don't pin the whole 'because race car' thing on you and blame you.

Also, I do not want to start a debate on this thread, but seriously there has to be a cut off age that you should not be allowed to drive any more.

Yeah...i looked at her DOB and it said 1923... :icon14: but the officer said it was her fault. Lots of witnesses THANK GOD!!!!!!

Yeah first I thought the lady was walking down the street didn't see you coming through and then used KungFu on your car when she suddenly realized your car was approching to her. LOL!

Good to hear both you and the lady are okay. Hope you get your car fixed soon!

Agree, some 1000+ year old Korean woman that was smaller than an ewok did this to me in in my old Eclipse. She couldn't even see over the steering wheel, and she had at least 3 other colors of paint on her car. You should need to take a driving test every 10 years.

That sucks. Hope everyone is ok. How fast were you going?

I was goin about 40 and slammed on my breaks and swerved a little but couldn't avoid it :/

If it's her fault, then it's time for an aftermarket front and vented fenders.

Actually there was a study on this once, the whole "age cut-off" thing for drivers. Apparently there are much more accidents due to younger drivers, than there are of the elderly.

Yea but that's probably also a numbers thing. There are far more younger drivers than elderly ones.

Maybe its cause of the fact that there are far less elderly drivers than young drivers?
