Nissan should take notes from Honda on how to get a butter smooth stick shift
I don't think you know how to drive stick well. I have only driven the Z manual a few times and can get it launched out pretty fast.

Try Bondurant.

Actually I drive stick really well, let me know when Nissan can make anything shift as good as the Acura integra type r, prelude type sh, Honda s2000, e46m3, miata, rx8.

Worst 6mt in the business they should stick to automatics like my 4.0 frontier and your 7at z.

It's definitely not the worst MT, by a long shot.

I don't have any issues with my MT. Shifts like butter.

no that honor goes to the more recent honda civics, damn things grind into whatever gear you try and throw it in to and the reliability ratings on them show that fact. heck my 96 civic even though it is a pretty good cars leaves alot to be desired in the shifting department and is far from smooth shifting as "some people" go on and on about not to mention if you try and get an agressive start off the line on it, it squeals like a freaking pig even with a new clutch and clutch fluid but then again its more of a gas saving car so wasnt designed for aggressive driving, i cant complain about 42mpg highway thats for sure though lol

i might be a noob, but i'll semi agree with this. ive driven many 6MT's in my day (was a valet for a year) and the Z's 6MT definitely gave me some trouble in the beginning. hell, i still have issues with it sometimes if im not paying a good amount of attention

Mine only gave me trouble in the beginning, because the catch point was opposite of my previous car and it had that helper spring (which I removed).
