Actually i was able to post pictures up that i took earlier today. Note that emblem was poorly plasti-dipped when I first tried without any knowledge, then this was right before I got my chrome Z emblems installed front/rear and replacing 370Z with Fairlady Z.

I am interested to see/understand how you direct the air from the vent to the undercar and brakes.

Detailed pictures pls...

Also, will you consider getting a new set of wheels or powder-coat/paint yours back to single color??

I personally love the Rays but if i were to change i would just buy a set of new wheels. Already have a few in mind to select from in the future.

Theres a picture of the Rear Body Scoop with the vent but no specifications i can't get a picture from underneath. I did more examination on it and its a small passageway that goes through a small area to the underneath of the car. I think it's the brakes, not sure. My body guy told me that it cools the breaks so i'm going to take his word for it. There's also the side shot of the rear and close up on the wheels.

Unless there's ducting directing that air to the rotors, it's non-functional.
You really need cooling for the front brakes more than the rears, anyway. They're the ones that do the bulk of the work.

I remember back in the day when I put gutter guard mesh over the various holes on my 95 Eclipse. It was the shiznit!

Certainly not trying to me mean, but I think it's a bit over done for my taste. From are purely design perspective, I think adding the hood scoop and side scoop things, ruin the lines of the car. Whenever I think about adding something to my car, I always ask myself if I'd still like it 10 years from now. If the answer is "no" it's probably as cheezy as the time I put neon lights under my '92 Camry. I do like everything else though, even the unique take on the wheels.

If that's the look you're going for, don't let me or anyone else in here stop you from doing what you want to your car. I think many here consider the 370Z as a bit more "grown-up" from the previous generation. I certainly do. If the modifications look tacky, we're gonna call you out on it because frankly, we don't want people correlating this car with "ricer." Just my honest opinion. Don't take any of this stuff personally.

It actually looks pretty dope. Finish off the look by adding a rear add-on, rear diffuser, side blades, a drop and blacked out door handles and wheels. I'd powder coat your calipers in red.

I know you were saying you want to get more education on motor performance, so I thought you should know that venting air underneath your car is bad as it creates pressure and lift underneath your car (unless you have a massive diffuser on the back which will channel that pressure to create negative lift aka downforce). Now if you had ducts from those vents to your brakes and not just to the general underneath portion of your car, then that is a good thing. Saying this all as just an FYI.

Your car looks nice btw. I think a blacked out look would look really sick (meaning rims and handles should be all black) since you're already almost blacked out.

Actually it looks pretty badass. I like it being blacked out. But the non-functional hood scoop is just not my cup of tea.

Thanks for being straight up with me. And thanks for the compliment. I know i'm still a noobie and you're probably right about what you said. I'm already kind of laughing at myself but I could make it benefit performance by cutting out the bottom to allow airflow to the engine but nehh.. Probably going to keep it on for a year or so then replace it with a Hybrid FRP Seibon Hood with vents.
