Actually, I'd hazard a guess that he knows exactly how much power he's making. Dyno sheets tend to show that. Since you seem to think that the OEM intake would make more power on the street than the dyno due to a lack of airflow, can you explain to me why an aftermarket intake would not show the same increase? The only correct bit in your little diatribe was that dry paper filters filter better. That's a given. The rest of what you've put forth here has made us all dumber.

Sorry, forgot these !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you feel better about your car and self!

So when someone ask how fast your car is, make sure you have AAM phone number so you say! I don't know anything but AAM does!!

Coming from the guy using 0-60 as a power measurement? 0-60 is not going to change much with mods, unless the mod is a set of slicks. Go take a look at quarter mile times. Particularly ETs.

I hate Driving a car that looks so fast but barely can pass a Honda accord v6 without flooding it.

JARblue 04-03-2013 02:14 PM

According to Nissan, the engine power of the 370Z is 212,873,913.04 calories per hour :ugh2:

My 0-60 time is 0.000000158 years :ugh2:

in your case i think it's not the intake or exhaust, but the driver.

Exactly...

Why can't we all be civilized and just say:
Do what makes YOU happy
Someone will always have a faster car with more HP, so who cares

do you have any idea on how much it takes to cut off time in a 1/4 mile? orrrrrr are we just trolling around with some douchebaggery? do you have any idea on the massive differences in 1/4 mile ETs given the track, track prep, track location, air temp, air density, track temp? i'm guessing no? my first night at the track was 13.6-13.8's. practiced some and got 13.1-13.2. now where im at now with intakes and tune is 12.899/12.900 i ran right after to make sure. more practice plus new tires it'll be better. trust me.
