I'm not betraying the Z community.

Ladies and gentleman, It is a sad day for me, since I have to trade my Z. I already have another vehicle waiting for me at the dealer. I have to trade it due to priorities in my life as well as to meet the needs of my family. But don't be sad, I will adquire another Z with in the next 12 to 15 months if everything goes as planned. So on monday morning I will be driving something that is not as fun and delightful as a Z.
Like I said, I'll come back... as I always do. This is my 4th Z and there will be a 5th. So it is not a good bye.. is just, until next time.
P.S. Besides, I always wanted my Z in white.

DEpointfive0 03-30-2013 09:45 PM

That's for sure I will be hanging around and as always "sarcastic and orgasmic". Like I said is just a temporary thing. The vehicle it's nothing fancy, it's a Toyota Venza V6 AWD with all the bells and whistles. Thanks you for your concern!

I really like the Venza, always have...
Btw, they make a wheel design like the Nismo's, LOL

Those are nice SUVs, shouldn't be that different from the Z performance wise :)

JK!!! Enjoy the venza man its a great vehicle that will give you years of hassle free ownership and I guarantee you it will be 10x more reliable then your Z as well.

dude the venza is a nice car! I just got a new rav-4 for the winters up here with AWD. The venza was a tough one to pass for the rav-4 as its almost the exact same thing with slightly more room. Congrats dude! Here is my Rav:

lol, the only experience i have with RAV 4's is having a dealership tell my buddy to test drive an old 1998 model and let me tell you, that thing may have ran well, but the interior left alot to be desired...you think the road noise in the Z is bad, that thing sounded like a tin can on wheels not to mention the back seats being a complete joke. back seats reminded me of sitting in those plastic chairs that they make you sit in back in preschool. i do agree though the venza is not a bad trade, have always like the design myself as far as crossovers go.

well what do you expect with a 1998 model?? :bowrofl:

I had a 99 rav-4 before I got my new one and had the same experience with it. The new rav has an amazing interior.. seats are comfy and its loaded with amenities and gets great fuel economy. I love it for my daily commute and driving through the constant ice covered roads we get up here

That's the model I'm getting, the 20's look alike the nismo wheels. Also my wife drives a Rav4 v6 as well.

Leuz 03-31-2013 04:20 AM

I wish you soon a Happy New Z

UNKNOWN_370 03-31-2013 09:03 AM

Hey, you'll be in the market for the next generation Z. :excited:

There's always an upside.:tiphat:

axmea? 03-31-2013 10:02 AM

Family comes first and we all make sacrifices for them. Good call giving up your Z for the good of the cause. In the meant time, stay with us for good company and pictures so you do not have withdrawals until you get it replaced in a year or so.

MR.nismo 04-01-2013 12:04 AM

I haven't seen it, so I'm not decided yet. I like the Z34 style way too much, especially the Nismo model. Either Z34 or Z35 it will be a Nismo in my garage once ag again.

Haboob 04-01-2013 09:09 AM

April Fools? (Maybe you were just premature in your joke, it's okay, it happens.)

If not, this is such a betrayal and I am appalled.

:p

MR.nismo 04-01-2013 09:27 AM

No, no jokes

I hope the 2014 don't change at all. Anyway, I'll be retiring in a few months (20 years military service) and once I get situated and with a new job, then my retirement check will pay for a Z. And it will be white!!!!

kenchan 04-15-2013 10:56 AM

wow 20yrs. :usa: you deserve the best.

Gauge 04-15-2013 01:07 PM

Heh my wife knows, no babies will be poppin till my baby is paid in full. I'll get rid of my cell phone before I get rid of this car.

my2004Z 04-15-2013 01:18 PM

I got pressured to "adjust for our growing family" and now we have a Frontier PRO-4X crew cab to go with my sexy 370Z. Famous last words- "You can take it all just don't take my monkey, eehhem, don't take my Z!!!"

b15 04-15-2013 01:52 PM

The Venza is a nice car for a DD. I wouldn't mind having one....but I'd still keep my Z :)

You'll be back in one soon enough though. Family > cars. As much as I love my Z, if it comes down to it, I'd let it go......then get another toy when it makes sense.

enkei2k 04-15-2013 04:21 PM

Until you get into a Z again, I vote you change your name to Mr. Venza instead.

tower74 04-15-2013 04:27 PM

When I read the title I thought this was going to another "regret" thread or how slow the Z is compared to a supersonic jet.

Glad to see it was someone saying they had priorities and choose the route best suited for their new life. Plus you saying that you are coming back to the Z was a big plus. Good luck and thank for your service, sir. :usa:

Magic Bus 04-15-2013 11:28 PM

No worries MrN. Many of us had to part with our favorite toys for the greater good of our families, I know I have. But doing the right thing will get you rewards you never expected and before you know it.......you'll be back in your new Nismo!

Wabbyyy 04-17-2013 10:54 PM

Good Luck Buddy

MR.nismo 10-30-2014 01:37 AM

Honeyyyyyy...I'm back !!!!

Fellow Z enthusiasts, it is an honor and pleasure to announce my return into the Z community. On Friday the 31st oct. I'll be picking up a 2014 Nismo model. It took me a little longer than anticipated but like the they say around "good things comes to those who wait"

Zipper 104 10-30-2014 02:08 AM

Zoren 370 10-30-2014 02:57 AM

I do have a 13' Venza as family car I called it the "whale" for its big interior room. But I might upsize to a Sequoia to haul the Z for longer drives.

Family comes first then the toy.

:iagree:

I too want a Sequoia but the wife doesn't agree. I may compromise and get a 4runner

kenchan 10-30-2014 11:55 AM

venza should be called 'toilet seat' since it liternally means toilet seat in japanese. :icon17:
