Fellow Z enthusiasts, it is an honor and pleasure to announce my return into the Z community. On Friday the 31st oct. I'll be picking up a 2014 Nismo model. It took me a little longer than anticipated but like the they say around "good things comes to those who wait"

You actually did return as planned. Fantastic ability to plan ahead.

Good choice too. Is it white?

Haha....that was really funny....But just for some clarification with the Japanese alphabet they do not have the letter V. Rather they use the letter "B" but pronounced as V like Voltes 5.

Toilet seat in Japanese is Benza! Like words with B like...
Bonsai....Ban Sai or Bento box? Lol

Besides the way I understand Venza from Toyota's stand point its a fusion between two words Venture and Monza.

Besides the Venza is really intended for the North American market and possibly not for the Japan market. So do you think Toyota would care if it does sound outrageously toilety in Japan! Lol

And Op congrats on your new 14 Nismo! Now you deserve the badge of Mr. Nismo again and not Mr. Toilety.

Glad you brought it up. I totally missed it. I hate resurrected threads. Congrats to the op on his return to the Z.

Priorities change, I completely understand. It happened to me 4-5 years ago when my son was born. I sold my Evo IX and got an SUV. It took a while for me to get back in the game but I'm back now and in a Z. 12 months will definitely fly by. Best regards

How is the Venza with the V6? I've had an I4 Venza a couple of times as a rental, and I found them to be disappointingly sluggish. Very nice and roomy, but barely able to get out of it's on way, especially climbing hills. I also had issues with the cruise control, but that was probably because it was a rental. I had hoped that the V6 would be a big improvement.

Anyways, welcome back!

I know is a bit late (since you asked) but I have been busy with not much in life and since It has been snowing plus the salt on the road then my Nismo has been nice and warm in the garage, my garage is heated.
At the beginning I thought I was going to hate the Venza, but I was a bit wrong. Is comfortable, has all goods, bells and whistles (from heated seats to JBL sound) and the V6 AWD comes handy in north Jersey. Plus I installed a tow hitch to pull my motorcycle. One of my favorite features is the "light feeling" on the steering. The handling is not so sluggish since is not a tall vehicle and the 20 inch wheels helps in that department. The only complaint I have is the brake pedal which it has a bit too much of travel to my likes. I checked the issue and is a normal thing.
