Chances are, if you like the current style of the Z, you'll appreciate the new one also. |

Maxima and Altima I think look great. Only one I don't like at all is the pathfinder, they made it too soft looking. |

The GTR looks awesome for those who know what it is. For everyone else, it just looks like an Impala (rear view) or Charger. And then of course they hear it.
The Z has been in a place of its own, reserved for things like Porsche's, since the 370. The 350 is nice, but not in a universally-loved sort of way. The 370 has few detractors, to be honest. It's priced much like the GTR, to undercut the competition that it *really* is targeting, and does it brilliantly. The rest of the Nissan line is pretty boring. The Juke looks kinda neat for what it is, though. The Maxima looks fine, but I constantly can't tell some Altimas from some Maximas and that annoys me; much like the old Pontiac G8 didn't distinguish itself. Then again, none of the rest of the line is looking to impact the sort of people who like the Z or GTR. :) |
I absolutely love the way the 370Z looks from every direction. The only other cars that I feel this way about are those made by McLaren. The rest of the Nissan lineup just makes the Z stand out that much more. I also have a black Frontier Pro-4X crew cab and it looks pretty good for a truck.
I buy my sports cars in the most spartan version possible with an emphasis on performance. Base model with sport package and 7AT. No reason for all the other distractions with more stuff to eventually have issues. :driving: |
A lot of people lately has been biotching about their 370Z, paint, price, etc.:shakes head:
Like OP said is the best bang for the buck, the power is more than enough to get me in trouble since I don't track or race my car. I just like to drive fast and go in spirit runs. Defects? every car has that, if you didn't do your homework before purchasing the Z SHAME ON YOU! I love my Z which is 09 plus got involved in an accident that the total damage was $9K, the car looks and drive like new. |
asides from the sunked in wheels when stock
The car is hard to beat in looks for a sub 40k |

I found it difficult to find a car that checked all the boxes for me. Nothing really needed any significant improvement. It looks great and the only thing that bothered me with the styling is the stock bumper would curve up at the corners making it a bit soft, a front splitter cures that. The engine sounded great before 5krpm, and not so good after, a good exhaust cured that. The brakes only needed some real pads and fluid. The engine overheating issue only really needed an oil cooler.
I couldn't be happier with the car. |
Love this car. Looks so angry when the front dips under heavy braking. I'm glad I got the fanged version and none of this LED silliness. :stirthepot:

I love threads like this! Still to this day it is VERY rare for me not to turn around for another look after I park and walk away. The BEST looking car under 40K. Hands down.

My favorite spot is when I'm parked underneath the white light post in a vacant lot at night. The PG and my wheels look sick. Haha.

I love the lines of the 370z even though mine is black and it's harder to see. I think the 350 and 300zx were too big and bland and am glad the 370z returned to the traditional Z look.
When it first came out in 2009 I didn't really like the fangs. Now that I see the 2013 refresh, I actually like my fangs. I do like the LEDs but the revised front end looks too much like a 350z. |
