Cool, so I won't have to crash my MBlue into your MBlue at the next meet, LOL!!!

Nissan called me today about my service visit, (friends were around and they know I love f-ing with them) and I told the guy "not pissed at YOU in any way but..." And I went off. Then he said, "so you'd like to move into the next part of the survey?" And I replied, "OHHHH, so NOW I'll curse the dealership out" and the me and the guy on the phone laughed, lol

(Beer on me at the next meet if you're there by the way)

lol, sadly my MBlue Z was sacrificed to appease the electric company at the alter of an electric pole so no need for that. fortunately im just about 3 or 4 months away from my next one showing up to remedy that and hopefully it will be as good reliability wise as my last one. oh and as a wise man once said "i dont drink often, but when i do i prefer dos XX" :D

Lol, Mike, I met you at the meet 2 months ago!!!
And I won't have to crash my MBlue into your new MBlue (Midnight Blue)
(Or did I get the color wrong)
(And didn't you have problems with your gears grinding or something? :stirthepot:)
LOL

I'm sorry for bashing the z guys, I really wanted to like the car and buy it out in the end but its too expensive to modify a base model into something proper.I don't know if having the sport package would of changed my opinion but the base model 6mt is a big let down for me.

lol, that actually ended up being my fault for accidentally going into 2nd at freeway speeds a couple of times and not realizing it until i heard the engine screaming at me to knock it off since i had rev matching on though i never did tell anyone that until now since it was pretty embarassing once i discovered what i was doing wrong. the only real problem i had was my passenger side door window motor going out which thanks to fontana nissan was replaced in no time no questions asked :) but yeah you got it right midnight blue it is :D

No worries, I believe he has mastered how to use spoilers the most efficient way to keep all the problems into one thread.:p:icon17:

Joke aside... After seeing the laundry list of the problems you listed in your http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-g...eartbreak.html tread, I totally understand your frustration on your z. If I were you, I'd be the same angry and disapointing about the Nissan products. I hope you will find a better dealership and sort out all your problems with Nissan.

Having said that, my experience with Nissan is pretty good, so far. I had an 06 Infiniti G35 coupe for 3 years and didn't have a single issue. I loved all the aspects of the car. That's why I stayed in the Nissan family and got the 370z after I sold my g. No regrets. So far I haven't had any issue yet. I also have an 07 Nissan Xterra as my winter car. No issues as well. So maybe it's just some individuals having problems with Nissan. Or maybe I am just the luck one.

This thread would be better if it has a poll. But in any case, best luck to you Andrew. Hope you will sort out all the problems soon.

Wow, sorry to hear, you've had some bad luck. I've had the opposite experience with my Nissans. For me no regrets on the Z at all, also happy to save the $25K vs an ISF.

If all you want is a rocket between your legs, just pick up some piece of ****, dump an lsx in it, and have a nut. The 370z is an affordable mixture of performance and luxury, not the best of one or both. If you got the Z to live your life a quarter mile at a time, then you obviously didn't do your homework; and because you failed to to do a proper test drive to realize that it was too slow for your standards, I'm not sure why the car should get bashed for that as opposed to you.

Seems to be a resounding amount of people who love their Z, I'm one of them

I love it's looks, rawness, performance, it fits me and my personality.

I had high hopes for this car before buying it and I'm happy it didn't let me down

Fair enough, to each their own.
I guess people here are like the way I am with Toyota, 0 issues in 20 years, and I swear by them, but every once in a while the SHTF, and they make a POS that breaks and a person hates that brand forever

:iagree:
I really do agree with all of what Frost said, it was the combo of looks aggressiveness, interior, speed, and a decent amount of other things.
I didn't need 2 ISFs at home and I KNEW the 370Z wouldn't be as fast as that, I just wish it wasn't so full of problems (for me at least)

NO BS, I would do it again JUST because I have met a LOT of good people through this forum and meets I just wish it would run properly

Yeah, don't get me wrong, you have plenty of reasons to regret your purchase. People who bought in 09 and then had temp issues have plenty of reason to regret. People with steering lock failure ... and so on. Some people got a nasty surprise when they found out insurance for their Zs was higher than other sport cars they had. But bashing the Z for its performance when you know full well what the performance is before you buy/lease it ... that's like eating an orange and complaining that it was too citrusy for your taste. :icon17:

This car has the worst 6mt in the business, the 7AT felt alot faster. I'm sorry I don't like clunky sloppy stick shift cars that you have to perfectly launch or else you're getting smoked by a Honda accord v6. Don't like the rough coarse engine.
And maybe you didn't know but the base model z has the worst oversteer ever, it's borderline dangerous.. You need to spend like 1500 right off the bat for tires
Ya maybe this wasn't the right car for me but like I said earlier I'm glad I leased this car there are too many cheap Nissan bs issues with this car.

Kingbaby 03-19-2013 11:07 PM

wasn't car the car for you...the new camaro and mustang are lookers.

Haboob 03-19-2013 11:09 PM

No, not yet.
