Looks Only: 370z or Cayman S

Of course I wanted the sport package with spoiler... But my car doesn't look bad for a leased base model right?

Cayman is a great track car, but yeah it's a girl car imo. My Pops is a porsche guy and the cayman according to him is one of the best bangs for the buck you can buy for the track, but it's sort of what porsche owners buy their wife.

I wouldn't drive it. Go 911 S/GT or get something else.

IMO, "bang for the buck" and "Porsche" should never go together.

There's a reason they're the most profitable car brand, making close to $30k profit per car sold.

The cayman reminds me of some type of cat, i.e. a chettah, leopard etc. The Z has a much more muscular look which I prefer. Both good cars, and at the track as well.

New Cayman for the win vs Z. Agree'd on Z vs old Cayman. Here in Germany in the Auto-Motor und Sport mag, they tested the 911 vs the new Cayman. Cayman won. Porsche driving school instructors consider the Cayman S the best Porsche made for handling and balance. Its a nice package overall compared to the ICON 911.
I would never turn the Cayman down...

I met a brand new Boxster S driver on the Dragon at Zdayz. He said he was all set to buy a new 911, but his salesman insisted that he take the 911 home for a night and then take the Boxster home for a night. He chose the Boxster, because he said the performance was almost no difference and the roof came down on the Boxster. Now, the Cayman S, I'd imagine, is even faster.

Nobody disagrees that the Cayman is a better car. At about twice the price. But as far as looks go, the Z wins hands down. Old Cayman, new Cayman, doesn't matter.

Now if this was Z vs 911, I would choose the 911 for looks. I was behind a Turbo S yesterday at a light and I was drooling.

Yeah, you are definitely paying for the name. Also, I really do wonder for the price difference which car would do better on the track dollar for dollar.

If I took a brand new Cayman S ~68K?? and I bought a new 42K 370Z then did 25K worth of mods to it. Which wins?

You don't win because your 25k will go right down the drain, at least the cayman is worth more
