Basically look at as if instead of just being able to connect iPods, you can now connect any MP3 player, mostly.
thanks for the heads up...it probably wont concern me because I would probably purchase the base + Sport... and Im guessing this system will only be offered to the touring and touring + sport models

I am itching to pull the trigger. If heated mirrors are the only major change then I may as well go with the 09' for a lil cost shaving. I drive an 02' civic now and it doesnt have heated mirrors. However, this has never even crossed my mind, not even in the winter months. There is a black base/sports/6mt at my local dealer. It's exactly the car im after (or red). I'd like to pick it up now and enjoy these next few months before winter sets in and enjoy the car rather than wait lo. Maybe im just being impatient.

None yet, probably will show up two months before it goes on sale.
I think Nissan is just following the standard upgrade rule, this year is basically nothing other than fixing a few things and add some minor accessories. 2011 will probably bring a more dramatic change, hopefully a slip boost in HP, maybe not directly from intake/exhaust but from other changes. Maybe they will upgrade the base model with some of the touring options and the touring get a nice bump.

hmm i wonder if they will trade in my 09 touring model for a 2010 touring model straight up trade for trade? my 09 has exactly 510 miles and garaged since june. ( no mods whats so ever)

i guess my question is, has anyone in history traded in the same vehicle( a year older) for the same vehicle (current year) at a dealership straight up without any extra cash?

There is no reason they would ever do that. Even if they were the same year. You are still trying to trade in a used car for a new one.

that makes no business sense whatsoever. you can probably have a very small difference in what you owe if you trade say an 09 model with extremely low miles (touring, sport, nav, automatic with all options) for a 10 model base, nonsport, manual with no options. i would think the difference is small, but even then it wouldnt be a straight up trade...

Default 2010 Coupe pricing announced

I've been getting lots of info from reading posts from you all, so I figured I'd give you a piece of info I hadn't seen yet. The pricing for the 2010 370z Coupes was just reported. Happy to report no huge price jump. I put a downpayment on mine while it's on the boat from Japan and didn't even know the pricing yet. :P

2010 Nissan 370Z Coupe Starts At $30,650

Nissan already announced pricing for its 2010 370Z roadster, but the automaker waited until today to reveal base prices for the 2010 370Z coupe.

The base 370Z coupe carries a price tag of $30,650 (including a $720 destination charge), which is approximately a $60 price jump over the 2009 model. The 2010 370Z adds features like heated mirrors, an in-cabin microfilter, and a new "Black Cherry" exterior color.

The track-tuned Nismo 370Z also sees its base price jump by $60 (now $39,190 with destination), but the content-laden 370Z Touring model has its pricing hiked by approximately $200, to $35,380. Nissan's navigation system, which continues to be an option on Touring models alone, is also upgraded for 2010.

2010 does mark the 40th anniversary of the Z-car, and to celebrate, Nissan is offering a special-edition 40th Anniversary 370Z coupe. Based on the 370Z Touring, the 40th anniversary package includes a special ruby-colored interior, red painted calipers, and 19-inch Rays aluminum wheels. Pricing for the package hasn't been announced yet, but we imagine the car will be priced around the $38,000 mark -- similar to a 370Z Touring equipped with the sport package.
