Also one of my coworkers was the service manager at South hills Nissan and knows everyone there, and has many connections to West and East Nissan as well, and the Nissan rep has a honda pilot that we service:bowrofl:, might need to pull that string if my motor keeps eating oil. Also, don't take any crap about mods, unless the mods can be proven to cause te failure they is nothing they can do about it. Thats like saying because you added more ram to your computer caused the power button to stop working, and the warranty is no good, companies have been getting away with this crap for years, we the consumers need to put an end to it!

for this fix i think im just going to beaver county nissan since my uncle is a salesman there. most of the techs there are good. that or my friend who works at the acura dealer in wexford said their nissan garage just got a GT-R master tech and he's certified with 370's as well.

Me: This car has graffiti keyed onto the side and it has 5000 miles more than what was listed on your website. When I called I was told the pictures on the website were up to date and the car was in good condition. Can you lower the price somewhat to compensate for these things?
Salesman: That listing was posted over a year ago and the car has been here since then. We can't lower the price.
Me: And you never thought to update it or try to clean up the car a bit?
Salesman: ......
Me: Bye!

It was a good thing we made it a family trip to NYC for the weekend to visit other family otherwise I would have been extra pissed for wasting all that time to go there.

I would have killed them or at least keyed the car even more...

When I bought my white Nismo, they had a Black Nismo there as well. The actual sale was smooth. We agreed on a price before I ever set foot on the lot. I didn't even test drive it. Had them pull it out, sat in it, felt the steering wheel, signed some papers, and left.

When I got home I jacked it up and the suspension spacers were still on. So I call them back and tell them to look for them on the black one as I don't want them to have their sales hurt. He sends an e-mail back saying they were on the black one too lol.

But yea, other than that, no issues. I did have someone try to sell me a GTR I was drooling over when I took my car in for an oil change. He was very aggressive about trying to get me to test drive it. I can actually afford a GTR with my job, but I didn't want to test drive as I knew, as he did, that if I did, I was walking out with it.

I didn't really want the car at that point so I didn't want to waste any more of my time there. Went back to NYC to enjoy the rest of my "vacation".

We have a reallt good customer that bought a s2000 on a whim when he was in Ohio a while back(used ovbiously has 20k). He brought it in saying it rode rough and did not fell right. My best friend has an s2000 for years, I helped mod it so I have a good amount of wheel time behind one, definatly did not ride well...We went to pull in on the alignment rack and did not need the cheater boards to drive it on and we imediatly knew the spring blocks were still in it, pulled them out, aligned, handled like a go cart!

When I was looking for my Z, I went to a couple dealerships to find what I was looking for (Either black or white sport 6mt). One of them was Exton Nissan. The sales manager there was a TOTAL tool. He was giving me the "I've got more Zs than anyone" schtick, and how he has dealerships calling from Maine to Florida trying to get some of his. All they had was base model 7ATs (three) and like, one used base 6MT. I drove a half hour away to Montgomeryville (where I bought my car). They had like, 15 of them, ranging from Nismos to bases, including the exact one I wanted. They also didn't offer me like, five dollars for my '03 Maxima which was in great condition.

As someone who was in sales for a while, that type of dishonesty drives me insane. It really bothers me when I'm dealing with sales people who don't do their job as well as I could. Know your stuff. It should be a given, but apparently few sales people invest the time in that anymore.

Although this is not a Nissan dealer story, it's amusing, at least to me.

I was curious about the BRZ and so one of my sons and I made a trek over to the Subaru dealer to see if we could drive one.

Upon our arrival, we were immediately accosted by a sales person who was very eager to help. No BRZ's were on the lot -- each one they got sold immediately, as he explained. I asked him if there was a chance he could call me when one was available for a test drive and he said "Sure, give me $500.00 to hold one for you". I laughed out loud because I honestly thought he was kidding, but he was serious.

He then went on to regale me with the BRZ's available AWD. I looked askance at him and told him they are all RWD. He said "No, they are not, some are AWD." We turned around and went back to my car.

Both at Henderson Nissan. Process was simpler for me though. VPP pricing was available so it was a set price when I walked in, I just had to notify them of that benefit. Car went from $36,700 to like $32,400. I also asked $6,000 for my 03 325i with 115,000 miles (strippo for a BMW), They gave mr $5,500. I also didn't want to start paying for four months. So my payment was deferred until then. Being deployed at the time, my interest rate was dropped from 8% to 4% and the bank hasn't changed the rate back since I returned. They had my orders and everything. I also didn't pay taxes on the car because I was deployed. So I made out well. When my Wife rolled in, she wanted to look at the Maxima and they kept pushing her towards an Altima. But she insisted on the Maxima. They were apprehensive because her score was only about a 620 and she rolled in with a Versa. She has me call her so she can beg me to let her buy it. I ask the typical questions and then ask to speak to the salesman. He realizes I'm deployed and Military, so he says he can get her in the car for 1.9% using the VPP program. There wasn't anything taken off the price of the car, but our payments are nearly identical and hers was $34k. She also got $11,000 for her Versa. I tried to explain that she can get it tax free but they didn't believe me and she didn't want to fight it or she would have paid a few thousand less. Her deal wasn't perfect, but it wasn't like we went in there fist fighting. She loves her car though. It's been reliable.
