WHERE can i buy this headlight SHROUD ?

i was wondering if there are any other headlight turn signal shrouds than stock than can be bought, or even this one

You have to do it yourself bro

No companies are making any replacement headlights or pieces. Everyone who has customized headlights have done it themselves or sent it to companies like 180

I've done a couple sets now, it makes a nice difference!

It can be fun to work through a project like that, and very rewarding when you finish with a great mod you did yourself.

Just got mine finished up 2-3 weeks ago.

Yeah those are painted, not bought. They separate from the main housing so it's a very simple job. Once you get the headlights open. Now THAT is a pita.

I did mine with another dude at his house a couple weeks ago, and it took at least 30 minutes per light to get the rubber seals open.

Hair dryer works too if you are really worried...

I put one in the oven, the other I used the hair dryer...that way you can leave all wires connected too.

Just takes about 10 minutes longer

I used a heat gun, they are inexpensive and you can get the job done a lot faster than a hair dryer. As far as the oven, no ty. I'm not doing that. Be sure to read the last few pages of the DIY. I add some insight. Don't use a screw driver as your flat edge, you will warp the black plastic. It's not visible under the hood if you mess it up, but if you're OCD like me, it matters. You don't even have to use a flat edge at all if you peel it right. If you do use a flat edge, use a large paint scraper with a long even surface, and don't pry hard.

How I did it was start at the very rear of the lights where that long piece comes off the headlight. I used that for leverage as I pulled it away from the clear plastic. Once the seal is broken it's as simple as peeling away.

Well, for these lights I used a heat gun. The 4-5 sets I've done in the past (from other vehicles) were done in the oven. The reason I went with the heat gun for these was the size of the lights. They BARELY fit in my oven, and I didn't want to take a chance of them touching the sides.

I honestly think the oven is safe, and easier if you do it correctly. I only had issues with 1 light when I heated the oven up to temp, put the light in, and left the oven on. The element kicked on and quickly heated the cookie sheet the light was on and melted off half of a mounting tab. Other than that, no problems.

A heat gun is much more efficient than a hair dryer. You just have to keep the gun moving around until you get the glue hot enough to start pulling the 2 halves apart.

Just like anything new... Just take your time and pay attention to what is going on. Plenty of info on the inter-web that can give you the basic info to have you prepared to pull it off.

I soak a towel and put that on a cookie sheet and then the headlight on the towel so nothing melts
