"Your Z ain't shyt compared to my Mustang 4.6"................. lol

you didn't hear everything he had to say.

The full sentence was "your Z ain't shyt compared to my mustang 4.6's....favorite car, the veyron. It is, however, a very nice ride for the price"

I think jealousy comments are funny. Guess it really depends on circles you travel in? None of my friends are jealous of a low cost entry level Japanese sports car? If anything I get the "why would you drive a cheap kids car" look from guys who drive Porsches, BMWs , etc.

You've never been around a Porsche at a track have u...?

U don't outrun a Porsche (save for a base boxster or Cayman) at a track. That's why people buy them....

That's why he said keeping up. And a 370 could definitaly keep up with some of the lower 911s if the driver skill was slightly lopsided in the Zs favour.

Tell me more about how the z could keep up with a base 997 or 991....

I mean guys, i love my z. And on a straight, it could MAYBE keep up. On a corner, it's game over. I'm not going off stats.. I've driven a buuunch of porsches. Owned 1, and currently have 1 sitting in my parents garage. Guys, they are THAT good. Why do u think they cost that much more? Just for the hell of it?

Porsche doesn't screw around when it comes to handling. Then again, is the Z an actually good handling car? I always felt that the power on the Z was great, the handling was good, but not as "on rails" as people described they would be. There is a bit of understeer :ughdance:
My buddy's Toyota boxster MR2 feels like it handles better than the Z sometimes.

easily fixed by a swaybar as far as understeer goes in the Z.

Or drop a couple of pounds of air pressure in the rear tires.

SS_Firehawk 02-10-2013 12:23 PM

"Looks like a Porsche" Now I find that insulting. The Z's @ss and hips are like J-Lo in her prime, good lift, tight, well rounded. Porsche, all hips, droopy ***. JK, I'm still trying to think of an insult. Maybe calling it a poor mans Porsche, I would rephrase that as "The working Man's Porsche. Maybe if the base price was $25k.

I second this, only ever drove one Porsche but it was on rails and stock... my Z handles like 1970 caprice compared to it.

Not in my Z. but I seen cayman's lose to lesser cars a few times. I never driven against one, but not scared to either once all my suspension mods are done.

Driver skill plays a major role too. I beginner in a Porsche is probably not gonna beat an experienced driver in a Z.
