All anecdotal:
I have seen a lot of these two cars at the track and the M3 wins every time. I can deal with a GT in my Z but never the M3 drivers.

I get insulted at work all the time for my mileage. "Dude, no car in America actually needs 93 octane. No car should be getting less than 30 mpg highway, bro. You're wasting your money and killing the environment, bro."

One of these guys owns a Saab 900 turbo, but his dream car is a Prius, and he loves Arcade Fire, and he has a mustache, and he's heard every song in the world waaaaaaaaay before I did, and he hates radio.

Edit: Not that there's anything wrong with that.. sorta kinda maybe.

The worst insult my Z ever received was a huge fart planted squarely into the passenger seat by one of my "friends". Friends is in quotations because I'm not so sure about him anymore

Yeah, I love Top Gear, and I think Clarkson is hilarious, but he contradicts himself SO much, particularly when it comes to Nissan. The first time he drove the GTR around the track (after the Japan train race episode) and he injured his neck, he couldn't stop singing its praises. Then a couple episodes later (forget which one) he was buzzing around the track in a dark blue one (I don't think it was a Black Edition...) and he was pissing and moaning about how boring it is, and how "detached" you are from the driving experience, when he said the opposite a few weeks earlier. Guess he'd just rather spend $300k on an Aston with 150 fewer horsepower.

lol.. I mean I kinda knew him and I know he was joking a little, so I let it slide. But I constantly get "Nice 350 man". But it stopped bothering me now. As long as they are complimenting, i have no issues with it. But it's weird how I will get respect or thumbs up from cars that'll hang with me like Mustang GT, WRX STI, Lancer Evo, Camaro SS etc. Never a bad attitude. But every time I stop next to a riced out Honda Honda civic that has like 140 hp, they always talk crap. I was Called a "pu$$y" few months ago because I didn't street race this Honda Civic at a street light
