Default I Need your help urgently - passenger air bag can not be disconnected

Hello everyone,

I would appreciate your help on this urgent matter.
I own a Nissan 370Z and live in Israel (far far Israel).
I am a proud father to a sweet 1 years old son. when i bought the 370Z 2 years ago a big part of the plan was that I'll take my son to the garden three times a week on my car.

The original idea was to put the baby seat is in the passenger seat.
I read the manual book and there's an explanation of the system installed in the vehicle which turns off the air bag in the passenger seat if it recognizes a child or baby sitting on the seat and not an older adult.

The problem is that now it turns out that all vehicles imported to Israel are not equipped with this system. i checked again with the company which imports the z and that is the final answer. the System is not installed, there is no indication suggesting detachment the passenger air bag, there are no sensors under the seat which measure the weight.

My question is what can be done now? Can I disconnect it by my self ?
Are there components of this system which I can buy overseas and install in my car?
What can i do?
I'd appreciate urgent help because if no solution is found I would have to sell the car!

I'd suggest you find someone familiar with airbags to manually disconnect and remove it, but thats not the right direction to take. Handling airbags without being carefull could kill you. I personally wouldn't mess with any part of the airbag system at all and certainly wouldn't risk my kid's safety. I'm not exactly sure how the airbag system is wired up, but I'm assuming there must be parts you can buy from Nissan.

Put a baby seat and some weight in the passenger seat and see if the passenger air bag light warning comes on. I have a 3 year old and the light always comes on when he sits in his toddler seat.
If it doesn't come on I still would not be over concerned since with a forward facing baby seat with the seat all the way back there is no way a baby will hit the airbag if the baby seat is installed well using the anchor.
