Paint?

Is the 2010 paint as bad as the 2009 paint, or is the paint equally full of fail regardless of year on the 370Z?

Pretty sure its the same. All Nissan's seem to have crappy paint. My Altima suffered from the same crap. I just try and keep it as clean as I can and keep plenty of wax on it. Seems to be holding up well so far.

yah, the paint is soft but if you know how to take care of your finish, should be no issue.

most often people swirl their finish during their car wash using the wrong techniques and tools.

isnt the 2011 model supposed to come with extra clear coat on front and rear bumpers?

Does Nissan normally guard next year's specs like this? Why is it that we know it will have a back-up camera and Gun Metal paint-color added and nothing else? That makes no sense. Wouldn't we know all or nothing?

Possibly because the backup camera and Gun Metal paint-colour are the only changes for the 2011 model?

The extra clear on the paint was said to be on the GTR not the Z.

An oil cooler?

Launch control?

Factory NISMO parts being converted over to the standard Z with better NISMO parts on the NISMO, such as the NISMO CAI going in the NISMO car, and the NISMO exhaust going on the regular Z so as to maintain a horsepower gap while making both vehicles better?

NAV/Better sterio and leather options for the NISMO?

I don't expect them to create a new Z, I just would think they might take the parts they have already developed and put them to good use spicing up the line and making the 2011 more highly valued than the 2010 for more reason than just a different color of paint and a back-up camera and one of the digits in the VIN due to year model change.

I guess I am used to American car companies and how they do things regarding YM changes.
