How do you guys keep your driver seats from wearing out? I fear that if I get in/out of my car enough, the fabric on the left support on the driverseat will start to tear because my *** is rubbing it soo much when entering/exiting the car.
Any suggestions besides ugly car seats?

Lean your seat all the way back prior to entering the vehicle. Put your right foot into the car and then aim for your butt to land at the very front of the seat. Now bring your left foot into the vehicle. It is okay to hold the steering wheel the entire time unless you don't want to wear that out to. Now, gently squirm backwards taking special care not to slide or you will cause excessive wear on the seat. Once you are seated properly then lean the seat back to your normal driving position. Take extra care when putting on your seat belt as the sliding of the belt will cause micro-tears in the fabric. Use the opposite sequence when exiting the vehicle.

+1. No way I know of to completely prevent wear (other than seat covers and they can rub the seat if they don't fit well), but keeping the leather clean and conditioned will help a lot. If you can't find a DIY on this site, try your favorite web search engine. "leather cleaning" "leather care" "leather conditioning" &c
Don't wear rough and/or dirty pants. Keep all sharp objects out of your back pockets. Don't smoke (in the car) - from what I've read, smoke is very bad for leather.

You need to use the door sill as a push point to get out of the car. I assume you are putting your hand on the side (bolster) of the seat to get leverage to exit the vehicle. Instead of using the seat, put your hand on the door sill and use it as the push point to exit the vehicle. This method works for exiting the lowest vehicles.
