If Invoice is 29something I should shoot for 31000? or even less? I dunno I feel that 31500 seem fair for them but not really me, because well there's nothing on the darn car it's the most basic Z I can get, it has the wheel locks that's it. And I like the most basic Z. I'm just not too sure about the red it isn't the nicest shade of red that I like either. But hey it's a Z and if I can get it for a good price why not? yeahh... they also had a yellow of the same config in manual that they would sell me for 32000, I dunno why it's 500 more dollars that one doesn't even have wheel locks. So what price is good to shoot for?Keep in mind that this is my second dealer, shouldI try another? even if I had such a great experience here?

Whoa, I didn't know the invoice was below 30K, but their prices are a little high. The yellow is a $500 option.
You should not pay more than $500 over invoice, but invoice on a base Z with automatic is like $30,300 on a manual it is like $29,700. Do you want a manual or an auto? If you feel like making the drive to Whitemarsh (just north of Bmore) then here are a couple options for you in different colors. If you don't want to make the drive then print out these pages and get your dealer to match the price. Most will do that. Silver manual for 30K 2009 Nissan 370Z in White Marsh, MD- 5810235 at carmax.com silver auto base with sport for 33K 2009 Nissan 370Z in White Marsh, MD- 5810235 at carmax.com blue base with auto for $30,500 2009 Nissan 370Z in White Marsh, MD- 5982718 at carmax.com

Thanks alot for the extra help, Yellow. But now you put me in a Red vs Blue. Situation cause man MB is really nice, there was one at the dealer I went to and It really catches my attention. Most of it anyways. I really don't need the sport but, that Silver might be worth it, I hate how you can't haggle at carmax.
I'm going to search for a white one really quick. Give it like a week to get my thoughts together then I'll go buy the right Z. I'm not sure if Im going to jump on it right way. I have somethings that I really hate about the car. Like No Space for anything and how hard it is for me to see out the front and back. SO once i getover these things. Which wont take too long I'll go get one of these cars. Thank you for your help =) |

I don't like Carmax's no haggle policy either, but you can see that their no haggle price beats the one you haggled for by nearly a thousand bucks.
When you are ready to buy I would stay away from dealers in Rockville, Silver Spring, Bethesda, and Germantown. They think everyone that walks through the door is loaded and they tend to not give the best deals. I have bought many cars through the years, and everytime I shop down that way the prices are always much higher than they are in the Baltimore metro area. You can still get your car serviced at a dealer that is closer to you. Like I said, I bought mine at Tischer which isn't too far from you. Tischer is a dump and it's ghettofabulous, but they have always given me a good price on a car.

I talked to my sales and he said he talk to his manager, its his day off so I didn't want to bother him, if they'll beat the price for carmax's blue one then ill happily take the red one. I told them that they had a bout 3 days because I will go to white marsh on my day off to look at that blue one. I think Blue would definitely go well with me more then red anyways. I'm going to try that silver one too but well see, because I'm still searching for that white one I really want, I don't even care if I got to go up to more northrthen state or southern for it if its worth my time its worth it.
