Why wouldn't there be a 2014 Z? We had the 350z for 7 years why would nissan stop making the 370 after 5?

Quite possibly if sales are this low.

That's why I asked if it will still be produced in 2014.

If it's to early for this question then just tell me.

Be realistic, you won't find out until at least the 1st Q of 2013, just wait for now... and hang around in this forum...

I'm curious to find out if Nissan completely redesigns the Z or just changes a few things to improve the existing structure/design. Also, would the price stay the same or increase while appealing to certain demographics. I can tell the 370z Roadster is positioned as a sports GT for a more affluent buyer compared to the base 370z coupe, which is nearly $10,000 cheaper (.) > > >

You do know they already changed the current Z right?

Cmike2780 10-17-2012 09:33 AM

If it's anything like the 35th Anniversary, we might finally see a power bump. I doubt a complete re-design will be ready as a 2014 model. More cosmetic changes are likely. Nissan has pretty much tackled most of the lingering issues with the 370 within reason. Oil cooler, brake cooling...etc. Chances of a turbo option are pretty slim and a new powerplant would be better invested into completely new Z. A 45th Anniversary with some fancy stiching & stickers is all I really expect from Nissan.

What did they do for brake cooling? I was under the impression they have yet to "fix" this.

Here are a couple of solutions
http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...ing-ducts.html

STILLEN : STILLEN 370Z Brake Cooling Kit

As mentioned, Nissan is not going to offically coment on a 2014 model until
2nd QTR+ of 2013. Why would you torpedo sales that are already hard to come by? But there will always be speculation ;)

Thanks for the links, but I know of the aftermarket solutions. :tiphat:

Cmike mentioned it as an example of something that Nissan had corrected, which I haven't seen anything on. Hence why I asked the questioned. :D

I thought they addressed it on the Nismo..maybe I'm mistaken.

I heard Nissan is releasing a "50 shades of gray" edition in 2014. To celebrate all the silver and gray options.
