I would listen to owners much more than consumer reports. A while back I bought a Genesis Coupe, mostly because the reviews mentioned how reliable it was. Not so, it was a nightmare from day one. Not two months would go by without having to go back for one issue or another. In talking to other owners, it was common to hear how unreliable it was. After owning it for only a year and half, I sold it and went to the 370z.
So listen to the owners, do ask questions but be more cautious with "professional" reviews. Word-of-mouth is how a decent reputation among owners is created. Good luck, and for reference, I love mine so far
