Z Nationals

Everyone,
Glad to hear everyone had a good time. Saturday was a blast for all of us as was Sunday. Overall the event was a great reward to many weeks of preparation and cleaning.

I greatly appreciate Mike who stepped and volunteered life and limb to be one of our instructors this year.

Guys if you do not mind though...for sake of preventing any further embarrassment or heartache to the owners of the four cars that were wrecked, please do not publically share the pictures. I think the owners have had enough heartache as is and do not need their unfortunate losses shared here. I will say that no 370Z's were damaged. However one of the four cars was a Z1 employee.

Everyone is OK, bruised and banged up...but two cars were completely written OFF.

I hope to see everyone again next year!

I was there too,it was very organized. me and my wife had allot of fun the dinner this year was a hell of allot better too.

Thanks man! Even though I have a 370z, you can tell I have a thing for the older Z's. Some of them looked better and cleaner then the 350zs/370z's

Want to personally thank Dustin and the entire Z1 family for hosting a great event ... Both at their home base and at Barber.
Also thanks to everyone tht stopped by the Doran 370Z RC and said hello.
The track day let us try our a couple new little bits that will def help the quest in 2013

Thanks again and looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Looking at this thread, it seems i def missed meeting some folks.

I have missed all the Z events this year except for ZdayZ due to my new job and completing my Master Degree.

But next year I'll make up starting with ZdayZ which the cabin is already reserved....

Here is the 2nd Porsche that wrecked. He was on the track at the same time as I. I came up on him in the middle of the track in pieces. Luckily he was not hurt.

I removed the photo as there was a request to do so from Z1 earlier in the post that I failed to see. It was not posted to be mean or otherwise, but just to show folks what can happen to you if you lose it.

Not nice to post other folks' carnage from HPDEs (unless you have permission if so ignore me! : ). Can be detrimental if they are trying to get insurance coverage or something.

No harm done. I just know a few of the owners were pretty upset over their losses. Having the pictures posted just more chance for hurt feelings and anger once trolls start making snide remarks and comments. I appreciate you recalling that image.

Next year I will have a few car covers in the shop trailer to cover the vehicles quickly after an incident to prevent this from being an issue.
