Any idea how long the engine is good for?

Just curious if anyone knows any super-high mileage Z's out there (or have heard of any). I'm wondering what to expect in terms of longevity. thanks!

I have heard of VQ's last up to 300K when proper maintenance was always performed, no reason to not expect a long life from your engine too

My first engine lasted 2900 miles. I hope to get 4-5 times out of this one.

Started new oil consumption test last week. :

All depends on how you treat it. Some folks had issues with oil consumption fairly early in the life of the engine so that's hard to predict. However, I think it's a low % of owners with the issue, especially with later models.

someone calculated this in a thread a year or so ago.

was something like exactly 114,921 miles on synthetic oil and only 82,544 miles on regular oil.
