To answer your first question, you can go look at my failed thread that I created. "Hurr durr torque steer". Its probably and most likely road conditions. I wouldn't be surprised if a corvette smoked me in straight line speeds.

I always wanted to say that the gearing on 1st gea-
I don't know how to word it. I've been having trouble figuring it out. But, what I'm trying to say is that I just remedy the problem by easing my foot down on the pedal instead of just stomping on the damned thing. Its the gearing, I feel that 1st and 2nd gear doesn't last too long and before I know it, I'm already at 3rd gear going 80MPH.
