The battery is over 3 years old and still very strong and I don't have any battery tender or any such thing hooked up. Failing to start after 5 days is ridiculous. I'd demand a new one before you're stranded at an airport parking lot or somewhere after being away for a week or two.
This, both my G and my Z sit for extended periods as I travel often. Sometimes they sit for over 3 weeks and I have never had a problem and I am still on the stock batteries.

1. Sounds like your tires are either on the way out or that the road surface blows. Or your tires are cold. Check pressures too.

2. I leave my car alone, unattended, for upwards of three weeks. It starts up fine, not even a problem. I have the Touring 6MT though, and you have extra electronics. Owned it for 40 months and not a single problem. Stock battery too.

3. Yes, i bought an iphone adapter that plugs into the red,white,yellow connectors inside the center console. In addition i installed this camera/bypass kit and it works great.
