so in my car.. when I downshift/rev-match myself.. the car is smooth and there's no shift-jerk. but for some reason my synchrorev isn't that smooth. it feels like.. the car blips the throttle for me, but not quite enough.. so I still get that engine-bog/unstable feeling when I let the clutch out.

I don't think my S-R system could be faulty since the car is pretty much new (plus it 'does' rev) but I haven't experienced the 'magic' of the revolutionary system like all the reviews/members rave about.

do you guys 'quickly' release the clutch after you downshift and it revs? I think maybe it's because I slowly let it out thinking it'll be a smoother shift, and in those 1-2 seconds the revs drop a bit
?
I don't know why you get the jerk downshifting. You can always leave the negative battery terminal off overnight see if that resets it.

As for the bold paragraph, that's what you are SUPPOSE to do in a 6 speed gearbox. Slowly let the clutch out for a smoother up shifting. I did that in my 350z. BUT with SRM on, it will hold your RPM during upshifting. Next time you drive your car, try this. Shift from 2nd to 3rd gear (could be any lower to higher gear) ---> but keep your clutch depressed to the floor ---> you'll see that the RPM will drop and STOP at the desired RPM for that 3rd gear. YOu still have another good 2 seconds and then SRM start to let the RPM drop beyond that point. So for smoother upshifting with SRM, your best bet is to upshift, wait for the RPM to drop (and stop at the specific RPM), then let the clutch go. You can even let the clutch go very quickly but it won't give you any jerk or shiftshock as your RPM is kinda stopped at the desired rpm. lol I hope it makes sense.
