base head unit question

anyone with the base head unit, are the VOL letters right above the volume knob supposed to light up with the dash lights? mine dosen't but it looks like it should...

thanks guys, it wasn't really a big deal it just bothers me when something's supposed to work... but doesn't.

Mine do not also. Glad to know I wasn't the only one thinking this.

And for the record, I believe one of the lock/unlock icons don't light up either. I'm not by my car so I can't confirm which, but I do know one of them don't light up.
