I weighed out whether to do it your (Modshcakcs way) or have it sit where it does now. I may try it your way if this current spot becomes a bother. Where it's at now you cannot see any wires which was a bonus to me. I do wish it was ever so slightly higher but, it functions well and is well hidden.

:icon17: yah, i got reported 3x last week for posting up pictures that people claimed were hurtful, trolling, and detrail, so it was all taken down. they couldnt accept the fact that my photoshop skillz were so good it looked real. :ugh:
so anyway, yah, check out the modshack thread where he did the Version2. his first verion was real ghetto :rofl2: so he came back and did the folding arm type. the cable is barely visible during use, and looks clean. :tup:
if you make the bracket correctly it is very solid and your nuvi will not bounce around while driving, or while you tap at the screen to make an entry. it's quite good...and what i like best is that it has an aftermarket look without being tacky. :tup: |
