If you have a manual transmission and have yet to replace its oil with Redline MT85, you are missing out. I just did an engine oil change and swapped the trans oil out as well and immediately the shifting is as smooth as silk pajamas on satin bed sheets (you all know that feeling).

I highly recommend it.

I didn't notice too much of a difference in the cold weather, but once the temp went up to 60+ it is definitely smooth as butter.

Typically shifting is rough in cold weather no matter what oil. I also do the diff at the same time as trans.

Took her partially down Lime Creek to a park. While there, I vacuumed her with a travel size one and Meguiar'd her insides. Did lunch with the hubby then took her to get another wheel balance as I suspected the last one wasn't done correctly. I had really heavy vibration starting at 60mph. Turns out, I was right.
Afterwards we went to John Eagle European where I drooled over a Lotus Evora and contemplated finding a used one soon. While leaving the dealership, I decided her exhaust was sounding just a little too good to go home and park it. Took her down Spicewood Springs for some semi twisty action and then headed home.

TL;DR: Road therapy complete.

Washed the Z in this beautiful Texas weather.

Great minds... She was filthy, and I finally got some time this afternoon to wash her. If I feel up to it after dinner, I may try to work on the interior. Tomorrow I hope I can clay and wax :)

I'm jealous that you have a clean Z!

If the weather is nice next weekend, I think I'll tackle the wash/clay/wax that she needs.

Put in some bright white led's in the smoked interior lenses. They stay lit the tiniest bit so it irritates me but hopefully after a few weeks it'll go away. Wishful thinking. Next is the license plate led's,

Edit:just did them. Took about 3 minutes

Setup dashcommand and PLX. I finally got my car back after being in the shop for 2 months from a series of unfortunate events.

I took her for a car wash, vacuum and a little fun. Car felt very strong; maybe because I haven't driven her in a while.

I had p0300 code that I cleared and I know my o2's are turned off, but dashcommand stated that my o2's were "ready". I have an inspection soon, and I'm wondering if I can trust it.
