I would just use the Griot's Speed Shine. The Meguiar's stuff is garbage, not enough lubricity to it. Of the Meguiar's products, I only use their Mirror Glaze line in tan bottles.
Have fun!

Got home, removed my cover and cleaned my windows and realized my tires were all at 31psi so I took a little drive to the gas station and filled them back to 35psi

I had a few spirited accelerations, felt good to open her up after not driving her since Monday

The drive is about an hour. I will have bugs on the nose for sure. No want bugs on Harry! Griots speed shine for bugs and general clean up?

I actually didn't think this was very noteworthy, but now that the warm days are almost gone here in Indy, I realized that I'm about to miss my favorite daily routine, which is:
  1. Put the top down.
  2. Put a great song on.
  3. And then take the outside lanes so I can kick everybody's a$$ in these:

Yes, I can still do this with the top up, but it's not nearly as much fun when I pass all the car zombies in the inside lane while doing this: :hello:

I hate those stupid rounds. Picture Chevy Chase in European Vacation.

:iagree: meguiar's maroon bottle QD is only good for claybar at best. :icon17:

the only meguiar's i use is their tire shine and scratchx2.0.

yep. if you have grit kickup (like after driving through a puddle) i suggest the SprayOn CarWash. SUPER lubricity.

SprayOn Wax is great to keep the surface slick on the front too, cleaning wheel arches, inside splash guards (side that gets the beating). i clean those areas as well during QD. :)

but most of the car i use SpeedShine.

Yeah you can clay with it, you can do a quick wipe down after being caught in the rain... Your towel of choice of course matters too. I swear by the stuff and I THINK its only around $34 a gallon. I use it always when just doing a pressure wash, wash. When drying the car I spray a good amount of it on the paint and then dry with a Waffle weave towel. No marring under an LED flashlight lol. I am not a big Griots fan. Not because it doesnt work but because of their markup :D

*Edit* This stuff is slick as snot :icon17:

I use the same product. Purchased the gallon size ~3 years ago. There's still 3/4 left in the jug. Great product.
